IF Malami (oh sorry, MALAMU is more apt) wasn’t influenced by any other extraneous factors aside legal consideration, why didn’t he think first about similar para-security agencies already in existence and functional in other parts of the country, eg. HISBAH and CIVILIAN JTF in some northern states before his Proscription of OP AMOTEKUN?
Obviously in other saner part of the world, he’d have resigned his appointment by now or be pushed over the cliff !
On the flipside though, his action could well be a blessing in disguise.

The answer isn’t far fetched in that :
If the SW governors can dig in and hold their common line devoid of any other Selfish and/or Political Party considerations or contradictions, OP AMOTEKUN may well be the catalyst for the long sought after restructuring of the obsolete and abysmally lopsided, massively unproductive Administration of Socio-economic and Political NIGERIA.
It’s high time each geo-political region took its destiny in its own hands…for Good or Bad !!!
