Fast rising gospel singer, Lady Evang. Adedayo Dauda, popularly known as Adedayo Sekere is a year old today, Monday, November 30, 2020. To celebrate her special day, she is dropping a single song today title Aeroplane both on radio stations and online. ” It’s a special day for me and I want people to celebrate with me by listening to my single ” Aeroplane”, because definitely that would give me so much joy on the inside” she declared.
On how she got inspiration for Aeroplane, Sekere hinted that, the inspiration came when she was thinking about her childhood experience. ” I know most people were family with Aeroplane ‘Odabo’ comic-song during childhood, and I believe it will definitely inspire them”.
Adedayo discovered her singing talent in Primary six and was mentored by Shola Allynson, and other good musicians but God she said is her main source of mentorship. She also appreciated her brother who gave her collection of Baba Ebenezer Obey’s songs to listen to, which also helped her career.
Adedayo is a Creative Arts graduate of Tai Solarin University of Education.
