I condemn the assassination of APC Chieftain Ahmed Gulak in Imo State and similar killings of innocent citizens across the country. It’s barbaric and in contrast to our national values and growth. The constitution of this great country upholds the principle of fairness, equity and justice that’s what we stand for; that’s what the current leadership in Nigeria needs to bring back. The wanton destruction of lives and property needs to stop.
The country is seriously bleeding, It’s getting out of hand. No one is safe anymore. The kidnap of another set of 200 students of Almajiri’ Islamiyya school in Rafi Local Government, Niger State- that is after the release of the previously abducted ones with over 150 million Naira paid by their parents – is still fresh in our minds. The fact that the Federal Government did not offer any form of intervention is really catastrophic.
The Federal Government must with immediate effect begin a massive war against acrimonious criminalities. We can’t continue living under perpetual terror without aggressive security measures.
Nigerians do not deserve all these.
