Popular OAP formerly with Radio Lagos, Jumobi Omisore has joined the branded new radio station making waves in town, Dux 94.7fm, located near journalist estate, Arepo, Ogun state.
In this brief chat with giraffeglobal online, Omisore said, the new generational radio station stands out from the rest, as it’s out to promote all the different languages in Nigerian geographical zone.
The programmes she anchors are Arinye between 3.00pm and 4pm on Mondays, Ojumi To between 10.30pm and 11.00pm on Tuesdays, Jelenke between 11.00pm on Thursday and 2.00am on Fridays.
Other programmes are Barka Jimoh between 5.00am and 6.00am on Fridays, Nuru Salam between 12.10pm and 1.00pm on Fridays, Jimoh Oloyin between 8.30pm and 9.00pm on Fridays.
Jumoke appeals to her fans, friends, families who are businesses’ owners for patronage on this newly sophisticated radio station with wider reach, as they will get the value for their patronage on Dux FM.
Sharing her broadcasting experience, this OAP of over a decade experience noted that the late Gbenga Adeboye’s programme on radio Lagos,” Funwontan Extra’ endeared her into broadcasting, but by the time she took the bold decision to get trained, Adeboye was late, but she was fascinated by Abdul Yomi Mate aka Ifankaleluyah who had also anchored ‘Awada Kerikeri’ on NTA.
She said” I saw what I saw in Gbenga Adeboye of blessed memory in Ifankaleluyah, which was why I decided to get trained by Ifankaleluyah for over four years before I started anchoring programme on Radio Lagos from 2011 till date before l left for DUX 94.7 FM where I hope to be more fulfilling in my career.”, she concluded.
Olusola Ajala is the general manager, Otunba Femi Davies, director of operations, while Asiwaju Rotimi Ajanaku is the GMD of the new talk-in-town Dux FM radio station.
