22nd August, 2021 was a great day in the life of popular journalist and broadcaster, Laide Adebayo Gold, as she unveiled her new magazine, Global Quest magazine.
The launching that has in attendance many journalists, broadcasters and who is who in the society was held at spacious hall of Odi-Olowo LCDA, ilupeju.
Laide, also used the occasion to honour some personalities with award of excellence. The event also witnessed great performance from Queen Amudalat Aweni Oniwaka, Ajijobata, Oyama Azeez, Omorilewa,Olukoso of Africa and others.
Chief Fakunle Oyesanya who bags award of promoting Culture’and African tradition on behalf of Adaci NIgeria said he came all the way from America to grace the eventful occasion and also urges People to partner with the publisher in other to uphold African origin.
In her words, Laide, who was editor of many Yoruba Newspapers said Global Quest magazine was birth out of promoting and propagating the culture of Africa and beyond her shores.
The custodian of culture also noted that the magazine is going to be on newspaper stands every month.
