Singing sensation, Wale Lyrics is indeed one of the fast- rising gospel artistes in town. His passion for music started from his teenage years, when he learned musical instruments: guitar, trumpet, drums and keyboard.

Who is Wale Lyrics?
Wale Lyrics is a gospel juju artist who has a great passion for singing and playing various musical instruments such as keyboard, drums, bass guiter and trumpet.
What influenced you into music profession ? My passion for singing since my childhood serves as a great motivation and influence to my singing career.
Could you tell us how and where it started ? I’ve been singing from my childhood, joining various cultural and singing groups as a child in both primary and secondary schools. I also joined the church choir at a tender age and was steadfast until I attained the position of a choir master of my church to date.
What business were you into before you decided to take music as a profession?
I was into photography and videography with other businesses which I did alongside singing. Singing was my first and remains my main business. However I later joined the Army at some point but came back to singing. Actually, I couldn’t trade both army and music together because they were both demanding. Moreover, I couldn’t trade my singing career or singing for God for anything in life.
You recently recorded a song, what’s the title and who produced it ?
The title of the song is Mo juba, re- produced by Shola Williams, one of the best music producers we have in Nigeria.
Could you give us an insight into your weekly gig if there is any?
I cover life band for events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and when booking is available
What’s the name of your band?
The name of my band is Wale Lyrics Band
Who are your mentor musically?
Tope Alabi, Mama Bola Are, Atorise, Dare Melody and all other great gospel artistes are my mentors.
Tell us about your family and educational backgrounds?
I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria and completed all my education in Lagos before relocating to UK after my NYSC.
How can you classify your kind of music?
Mainly Gospel and Juju music.
How many album do you have or singles have you produced to your credit?
I have produced two albums titled lyanu loro re and Mojuba re
What’s your marital status?
I’m married.

I love them for loving and admiring me. Their support is highly appreciated.

Could you tell us about your relationship with popular singer, Segun Nabi?
Segun Nabi is one of the top singers I Cherish his musical style so much. Presently, I’m collaborating with him. I’m featuring him in my new work, Transformation, produced by an award winning music producer, Engr. Shola Williams.
