Music aficionados will never forget last Saturday, when Sugarcane, one of Nigeria’s best musicians, delighted his fans with his most recent songs.
Other well-known musicians who performed at the Show-town Finest Reloaded event included Adex of Artquake, Kozy General, Mr. Dove, MC Lagos Boi, and DJ Bliss on the steel wheel. The event was held at Temidire Primary School in Shogunle, Oshodi, Lagos.
On the aim and purpose of the show, the convener, Sugarcane said, “There are a lot of reasons I chose to host show-town finest reloaded. One of which is just to say a big thank you to the hood and also to give back to this amazing community. Koolitdown started from show town and I’m happy to carry it along. Hosting this event in Show-town is an opportunity for me to give its people a ground to freely express them, you know show town has a lot of talented youths and on the show, they are able to showcase their talents.”
“The show is also a platform to bring a lot of people, I mean both past and present inhabitants together like a reunion. Show town finest reloaded is a platform to remind the people of show town of how united we are and how we party and also to showcase the talents show town harbors to the world and the massive turn up we get just goes to prove it.” He concluded
Also speaking at the event was Mr Olabanji Adelana, the manager of Squad One Bitters, the newest herbal mixture whose company has been supporting the show since inception commended the convener and promised to make it a major event where new talents are discovered.
