Empraiz, whose actual name is Emmanuel Olowoyeye, a contemporary gospel act with undeniable local and global appeal, owing to his unique genres of music and passionate renditions of his songs.
As a joyful praiser and an intense worshipper of Yaweh, has a style of music which strikes instantly a chord in the listener, as he ministers in songs. His genres of music, parades contemporary gospel, worship songs, highlife genre, Naija gospel and African melodies would be tempted to embrace and applaud his obvious gift in song writing, arrangement and renditions. Empraiz, a chorister, set out on his musical journey as a youngster in the service of God. With an affinity for structured music which he began in 1990 as a young chorister in the church. Since then, Empraiz has been married to music, his first love; with an undying passion which is still flaming till date.
Ever since he embraced music lock, stock and barrel, Empraiz has continually evolved boldly over the years, leading praise/worship in churches, and obviously challenging the imagination of people with the effective combination of composing and recording songs. As music practitioner, he actually knows his onions, and with visible passion for it, divine providence has stamped his efforts tacitly, automatically making Empraiz, a house hold name in the concern. His impressive status, he may have consolidated with his well penned songs which proliferates the airwaves and Christian gatherings. Interestingly, he topped such impact with concerts within and outside Nigeria. It is expidient that with his concerted musical pursuit, has undoubtedly portrayed him succinctly as a crack who can hold his own down in gospel music anywhere and anytime.
His music has undoubtedly impacted seriously on the psyche of his fans, in Nigeria which fetched him instant recognition and the attendant appellations during a musical career which spans over 28years. It is on good source that he had the singular honour of sharing the podium with some celebrated international and Nigeria acts like that Tye Tribbett, Micah Stampley, Ron kenoly Bob Fitts , Alvin Slaughter Byron Cage and few other international top hitters and Nigerian stars, including late Sam Okposo, Frank Edwards, late Sinachi and Midnight crew.
His recording efforts led to the conscientious productions of five tightly packaged works. Since then, he had been firing on all cylinders tiressly.
Empraiz International performances on the same podium with some international stars has won him many international fans who are hell bent on wanting him back for subsequent summer shows.
