Prince Hakeem Balogun Oba Elect of Isheri Olofin Lagos, Nigeria at the 2024 season 3 and 4 of Adire Festival in Texas United States of America emphasised its resolve to continue supporting and amplifying the cultural values that bind Yorubas and Nigerians together.
In a statement made available to newsmen, stated that he was determined, more than ever, to continue to take the lead in the promotion of Yorubas and Nigeria’s cultures and traditions with a view to showcasing them to the world at large and conserving them for posterity, he disclosed that it had made all necessary contact to bring Yorubas together in the diaspora our deep relationship will enable Yorubas to continue to communicate seamlessly with loved ones and business associates within and outside the country
while felicitating with the members for the success of the 2024 edition of the festival.
In his reaction prince Balogun stated that the purpose of the organization is to promote the unity and solidarity of Yoruba people all over the world.
The organizers introduce the Yoruba culture for the enjoyment of members and other multicultural communities, so we can promote co-operation among members and various multicultural communities in America
by cooperating with other communities and associations in America
This i believe safeguard the interests and rights of Yorubas in America. He emphasis it is a network for Yorubas in America to unite for a common front and promotion of our culture
The event took place on the the 13th September 2024 at Star Banquet and Event center Texas United States of America tagged season 3 and 4.
